The
Context
Stax Living is a luxury furniture brand offering a curated collection of modern collectible pieces defined by craftsmanship, rarity, and timeless design. The goal of this project was to create a digital experience that reflects the brand’s premium positioning while presenting furniture pieces as design artifacts rather than standard retail products.
The challenge was designing an ecommerce platform that communicates exclusivity without overwhelming the user with dense catalog structures. Luxury furniture buyers typically seek inspiration, craftsmanship details, and a sense of rarity rather than fast transactional browsing.
The approach focused on simplifying the website structure and organizing the brand into distinct collections such as Collectibles, Raw, Studio, Luxury, and Edition. Each collection introduces its own visual tone and narrative, creating a gallery-like browsing experience that emphasizes design storytelling and craftsmanship.
The browsing journey was intentionally curated, allowing users to explore collections gradually while maintaining a calm and minimal interface that highlights materials, form, and craftsmanship.
My
Role
I was responsible for the full UX and visual design of the website. This included defining the information architecture, structuring the collection-based browsing experience, and designing product pages that emphasize craftsmanship, materials, and design intent.
Particular attention was given to creating a gallery-inspired layout and implementing an enquiry-based purchase flow that aligns with the brand’s luxury positioning while maintaining intuitive navigation and clarity.
