The
Context
Watermelon Boys is a vibrant kidswear brand focused on expressive, playful fashion for young boys. The goal of this revamp was to build a distinctive digital identity that feels energetic yet structured—one that resonates with modern parents while keeping the experience intuitive and easy to navigate.
The project centered around developing a strong mascot-led visual direction and translating that into a cohesive Shopify storefront. Beyond visual refresh, the challenge was to design structured UX flows that balance fun storytelling with clarity in collections, testimonials, and product exploration.
My
Role
I led the UX and visual direction for the brand’s e-commerce redesign. This included defining the mascot system, structuring content blocks for product discovery, designing collection storytelling sections, and building a scalable layout system within Shopify. I worked closely with the platform’s constraints to create custom modular sections while ensuring visual consistency across pages, blog content, and promotional areas.
